1. Text-to-Video 📹 (Coming Soon)

Apart of Adobe’s newly announced “Firefly Video AI” model, you’ll be able to create videos with just a basic text prompt.

2. Project Fast Fill ✏️ (Coming Soon)

Adobe sneak-peaked a new feature that may or may not be releasing, called “Project Fast Fill.”

This feature allows you to remove and modify objects in videos, similar to what can be accomplished in still-images.

How does it work?

In addition to Project Fast Fill, you’ll be able to add AI-generated objects to your videos, instantly!

Objects will dynamically adjust to changes to setting and environment, like lighting.

Now let’s talk about what’s available to you now:

4. Text-Based Video Editing ✂️

You can now edit your videos… as easily as editing a word document.

What does this mean?

Highlighting text = selecting that part of the video
Deleting highlighted text = deleting that part of the video

Here’s how it looks like in action👇

Remove silences and awkward pauses instantly 🤯

Three dots (…) in your transcripts represent pauses in your audio.

You can now select all of these pauses in bulk, and delete them all in one click.

This will help you fast-track the initial portion of your video editing.

You can even change the “pause length” depending on short or long your pauses are.

5. Auto-Tagging Audio 🎵

Premiere Pro will now automatically “tag” your audio files as one of the following:

1. Dialogue (e.g. people speaking)

2. Music (e.g. background music)

3. SFX (e.g. sound effects)

4. Ambience (e.g. background noise)

To access these features, go to Window > Essential Sound.

Depending on the type of audio type, you’ll see different options 👇

For example, if you select Dialogue you’ll different audio presets built for speaking.

You’ll also see different options to adjust:

• Loudness: You can auto-match the loudness or volume of multiple audio clips.

• Repair: Have the ability to fix or repair your audio, including reducing noise, rumbling, and echo.

• Clarity: You can apply different presets to improve the sound of your audio clips.

• Creative: You can play around with reverb settings to make your audio sound “larger” or “smaller.”

• Ducking: You can make your selected audio clip “duck” or lower its volume whenever another type of audio track plays, automatically.

Bonus.. Enhance Speech 🎧

In the Beta version of Premiere Pro, you can now “Enhance Speech” of dialogue clips directly in the program.

Previously, this was only available on the web.

This feature uses artificial intelligence to clean up your audio, and make sound like it was recorded professionally.
